International activities

Here are presented some of our most recent international projects.

CURRENT: All in – International Inclusive Society in Arts (ALIISA) 1.9.202031.8.2023

The project is coordinated by Savonia University of Applied Sciences. Partners include Kuopio Conservatory, Vilnius University Šiauliai Academy (Lithuania), Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien (Austria) ja Ich bin O.K. Kultur- und Bildungsverein der Menschen mit und ohne Behinderung (Austria). The project aims at acknowledging the importance of arts in enhancing inclusion and social well-being, developing pedagogical skills in inclusive arts pedagogy and finding professionals for the field.

  • YHDESSÄ (together) concert tour, in 2017:
    • Bern Conservatory (Switzerland) formed a symphony orchestra together with students from Kuopio Conservatory and Savonia University of Applied Sciences. Concert tours took place in Finland and Switzerland with Rauno Tikkanen and Droujelub Yanakiev as conductors.
