Music as a hobby

Welcome to the world of music! Joy of learning, living music and dance, together and individually – this is the core of music education in Kuopio Conservatory.

Kuopio Conservatory offers basic and advanced studies in music. With us, music can be a long-time hobby from early childhood to adulthood. 

Music playschool

Music playschool provides joy from music learning experiences for children aged 0–6. Music playschool is started with an accompanying adult and later on children attend the groups independently.

Preparatory study of music

Preparatory vocal and instrumental lessons for 5-10-year-olds. Tuition is mainly organized in small groups of 2–3 participants.

Classical music studies

Instrumental studies in classical music can be studied in all our locations. When applying for basic education in music, the applicants choose a suitable instrument. The instrument selection may vary depending on the teaching location.

Rhythm music studies

Instrumental studies in rhythm music can be studied in Kuopio, Juankoski, Lapinlahti, Nilsiä and Siilinjärvi. When applying for basic education in music, the applicants choose a suitable instrument. The instrument selection may vary depending on the teaching location.
