Start of autumn semester

The autumn semester at Kuopio Conservatory begins on 10th August 2026. Teaching will start gradually during August:

• Thu 13th Aug: Vocational education in music
• Mon 17th Aug: Basic education in music (instrument lessons; teachers will contact students to arrange lesson times)
• Mon 17th Aug: Music theory classes in schools
• Mon 24th Aug: Basic education in dance
• Mon 24th Aug: Music playschool, children’s dance, preparatory study of dance, music theory
• Mon 31th Aug: Preparatory study of music
• Mon 31th Aug: Open conservatory

Enrollment for early childhood education and open conservatory studies

Enrollment for available spots in early childhood music and dance groups, as well as in Open Conservatory courses, is open in August.
